New Members #14

I feel like we should be blogging here about something other than our new members once in a while, so I might try to do that, this week.  However, for now, it's all about the new guys!

Jakemono is that rarest of beasts: the LOTR hobbyist!  He also loves GoT so the passion for LOTR should be no surprise - I'm just amazed no one seems to have done a GoT mod for the LOTR/Hobbit SBG.  It's great to see the forces of Middle Earth getting a good airing.

MordorLegion is all about the cosplay and all about the Chaos!  His designs and creations are atmospheric... and alarming...

spoonfedvomit, despite the unappetising username, is a digital artist who whimsical fantasy paintings of woodland adventurers make me think of Redwall or Mouse Guard.  I particularly like the toad wizard.

Ino-CoPlus is brand new to dA, but has landed with a solid bang with some really gorgeous digital character illustrations of a fantasy/dark fantasy bent.

Nobody is one of the world's most prolific collectors and exhibitors of some of the finest-painted miniatures the community has to offer.  If you are a miniatures painter, I cannot say this strongly enough: VISIT HIS GALLERY.

Nobody is a brony.  Nothing wrong with that, I hasten to add.  Just a word of caution if that's not your thing.  He has also done a rather lovely Grey Knight painting which I hope is the herald of further Warhammeriness in his gallery.

Nobody is a miniatures painter of note.  Seven years on dA, but only just starting to add minis to his gallery, his Mantis Warriors are all sorts of awesome.

Nobody is a trad artist with a nice line in dark fantasy.  Just the one Space Marine sketch, but plenty for Warhammer fans to appreciate.

Nobody is mostly a photographer and illustrator, but does interior design using miniature models, which may be what has brought her here.  If so, I suggest she check out the "Scenic Display" sections of our Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 miniatures galleries.

Nobody is quite the all-around artist, but has galleries dedicated to Warhammer 40,000 and his personal regiment, the 115th Asphodel.

Nobody is a trad artist in the anime/japanimatino style and a really, really good one.  Very much the high fantasy flavour of gods and dragons and suchlike.

Nobody is another Chaos follower, although there may be an inclination to association with degenerate xenos scum, too.  Early days on the minis in his gallery, but the latest offering suggests great things to come.

Nobody is a dedicated devotee of the Chaos gods, with one complete Khorne army and another army  of Chaos Undivided (Night Lords) well in hand.  Check it!  He also takes brilliant photos of his minis.

Nobody is a graphic artist.  Not a lot to go on in the gallery, but a strong fantasy theme to the Favourites.

Nobody is all kinds of awesome.  His "Gandalf versus Balrog" alone is worth the price of admission.

Nobody is an aspiring author with a passion for gothic fantasy.

anteZX: is a Lego MOCer (My Own Creation) with some terrific designs.  More generic SF than Warhammer 40k, but worth a look all the same.  You will want to dig out all your old Lego.
